About
In one line: I’m someone who designs context as much as pixels. Tweak the copy below to match your own voice.
Why Erika?
- I write the problem first. Before comps, I capture stakeholders, users, and constraints in short notes so the work stays explainable later.
- I design systems. I’d rather ship a coherent type scale, grid, and component rules than a one-off logo that doesn’t scale.
- I match collaboration rhythms. With marketing, dev, and on-site teams — and when translation matters — I treat visuals as a shared language.
Study in New Zealand, Melbourne now
I studied in New Zealand, working alongside multicultural organisations, small local businesses, and public and cultural events — work that had to feel right in the real world, not only on screen. I’m comfortable switching tone for English- and Korean-speaking clients and collaborators.
I’m based in Melbourne, Australia, and I’m currently looking for a design role. If you’re hiring or open to a conversation, I’d love to hear from you via Contact.
Design philosophy
I aim for work that doesn’t only look good — it’s readable, usable, and maintainable.
Information architecture and craft move together. I’d rather defend a brand promise than chase a trend for its own sake.
